SoFoBoMo 2009 Is Up and Running

The 2009 SoFoBoMo (Solo Photo Book Month) website is live as of today.

What the hell is SoFoBoMo!? I hear you ask. Glad you did. Imagine you had just 1 month in which to produce a photobook, from start to finish: You would have to take at least 35 photographs, write the text to accompany them, and put them together into a PDF that could be printed as a book. In just 1 month. From start to finish. Sound crazy? Yep. But is it possible? You bet! Check out the books from SoFoBoMo 2008.

If you think this is something you’d like to do, read the rules here, take a deep breath…and sign up. Don’t think about it too much or you’ll never do it.

I watched from the sidelines last year, but I’m seriously considering taking part this year. Maybe I should follow my own advice and stop considering…and just do it.
