I have only recently become aware of Lida Chaulet's photographic work, but it made a very strong impression on me. Comparison to well know artists like Ruth Bernard are fair. I look forward to future dialogue and possible collaboration with Ms. Chaulet. She is a star in the making.

Best wishes to your viewers,

Gary

Getting to know Lida in her early days of digital photography, I first recognized her portraits as special, soft, gracious and full of emotion and beauty.
Particularly her portraits were always a presentation with a tender touch.
They worked like a magnet for me.

By always using the light in a perfect way she managed to create a strong image with a soft look. I was jealous for her remarkable eye for detail.

Nowadays I see her skills for capturing things in a different way has been expanded to a wider area.

Now, not only her portraits are magnets to me, but it is her view on the world around us that makes me look with different eyes to subjects.

Ever since she always kept modest; another beauty of her.
Obviously her photos are art for me. Different subjects, different approaches and different use of available tools are added to her skills, but the results are still the same to me: A perfect capture of beauty seen through her eyes and lenses. ART !

Observing her work I get the strong impression she has discovered heaven on earth and is willing to share that precious thing with us.

Lida, I enjoyed this interview and I wish you and your family all the best for the future.

This is an outstanding article focusing on the exploration of the photographer herself. I find the images echoing the sensitivity and some sort of concealed emotion itself. Beautiful and affective

Beautiful art

I can say that I am now a friend of Lida.
I have always been impressed by her approach of photography.

She looks to me, as the "keeper" of the light, to use it with sensitivity,
with force and tenderness in her whole work, placing it as touches of invisible attractive "colours". She plays with her camera as painters with brushes.

Her photographs are full of vibrations that resonate in any head/mind/heart while looking at them. Her photos are elating.

Very modest, and not that talkative, she prefers to translate emotions through her photos, and she does it masterfully, and as sayd by AndrewG with a dilicate touch.

Thanks Lida and Mis. I'm impressed by the well-done low-contrast look. So many photographers process b&w to black-black and white-white but some of these shots (Sometimes, Soiree, The Coast, Anywhere that Far, Light Dance) all seem to have been handled with a delicate touch.
