I also tried some fireworks shots this last Canada and was very pleased with the results. I was using mostly 1-5 sec shutter speeds with f 7 – 11. Here’s one of the shots that I was pretty happy with…

Ro,

Sometimes you have to concentrate on the mundane things until you get them all done. I'm sure we'll see more of you once you pass your exam. Because you will pass it :)

And thanks for your comments on the fireworks. Shooting at ISO125 guarantees no noise!

Stunning images of the night. Your images are clear of sensor blooming and the colour is fantastic!

Thank you for the good words. My life is plagued with so many mundane things that I hardly even visit pentaxforums these days. Good to hear greetings from you.

You are correct, I didn't mention multiple exposures. I thought that if you were advanced enough to be considering multiple exposures, you probably wouldn't need the tutorial! :D

"put down the hotdog and beer" ?!

Never mind, then ;~)

BTW, Lawrence, the Pentax K20D can do multiple exposures (K10D too, I think) .

If I am not mistaken, you have left out multiple exposures, 2x, 3x, etc. on film, for digital folks you can digitally fake this in PS, but it's a lot of fun if you still shoot film and have a camera capable of this, I still use an old Spartus TLR (120) with just 1/25 and Bulb settings (these are the only adjustments on this camera). On B without any film advance, with a tripod I have a great time. Cost of camera: $1.00, cost of tripod: $250.00, Satisfaction: Priceless
