PayPal considered we were not a registered charity, and thus could not accept money for Haiti. The way I see it, we were selling prints, and what we did with the money was none of their business; it was between us and our buyers. If our buyers trusted we would use the proceeds towards a Haiti Relief fund and didn’t submit any PayPal claims against us, then what was the problem? Their reasoning was that there were a lot of Haiti scams popping up using PayPal as a payment method.
