About Miserere

I’ve loved Photography all my life, but only recently was I able to dedicate enough time to it that I could actually progress toward becoming the photographer I want to be. I’m not quite there yet, but at least I’m closer than I was yesterday. I have digital photography to thank for this, but ironically I now find myself shooting some film and lusting over old cameras. Each medium has its idiosyncrasies, and I enjoy them both in different ways. It’s not an either/or for me.

I don’t consider myself a brand snob. Every brand has pros and cons, and it’s just a case of finding the one that best fills your needs. For me, that brand is currently Pentax, which is why I also contribute to Yvon Bourque’s Pentax DSLRs blog on matters sometimes related to Pentax. You can find those articles here.

If you want to see a sample of my photos…

Flickriver: Mostly pretty pictures.

Concert Photography: Bands playing live—the best way to photograph them.

Street Photography: Maybe my favourite style. It’s always a challenge, yet always rewarding too.

I can be reached via e-mail at Miserere@WorldofMiserere.com, and I look forward to any comments or suggestions you may have for me about the site.

You can follow me on Twitter if you like.

I hope you enjoy the site!
